3% Equity stake for host community is unacceptable – Dickson


The Senator representing Bayelsa West, Seriake Dickson has condemned the 3% equity stake for host community in the recently passed Petroleum Industry Bill.

Speaking at a Press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, the former governor of Bayelsa state the PIP had already been badly managed at the executive level.

He said the original five percent proposed by President Buhari should have been left to ensure peaceful co-existence in host community.
