Leke Adeboye is currently leading a hair shave movement in honour of his late brother, Pastor Dare Adeboye, who died on the 4th of May 2021. Asides from Leke Adeboye, some other men in their circle honoured the deceased by shaving their hair and beards. According to Leke Adeboye, he said, “This is our tradition, anytime we lose a fallen soldier as youths; we shave off our hair as a sign of respect and honour. To live is Christ and to die is gain. It is very simple. PD is already gone, how are you living right now. Heads shaved, clean hearts and clean minds.”
Leke Adeboye initiated this movement with the hash tag, #forPDee #NotTodaySatan.
