Chief Olabode George, former national deputy chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has mourned Professor Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe, describing him as a good and honest man.
The Atona Odua of Yorubaland in a condolence message released on Thursday, described Ibidapo-Obe as a good man who served as a Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos with selfless dignity and truth.
Describing the late Professor as a friend and my brother in accordance with Yoruba cosmology, George said,
“Oyewusi was brilliant as brilliant could be. He was a mathematician, an engineer system analyst, a professional with bristling articulated intelligence.
He was a good man who served as the Vice Chancellor of the University Of Lagos with selfless dignity, with defined purpose. with truth and admirable solidify.
The former national deputy chairman said that Ibidapo-Obe was sociable, humble, gracious, full of love, instinctively good at heart, a scholar with comprehensive largeness. “Oye will be missed where truth and wisdom are honored,” George said.
