It would be vividly recalled that Stonebwoy signed the Afrobeat badman, Kelvyn Boy on his record label and groomed him to fit the music market but for some reason, they parted ways in August 2019.
He later signed MTN Hitmaker Season 7 winner, Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko popularly known, as OV but also parted ways with her and since then, no one has heard from her.
During an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show, Stonebwoy disclosed that he has no plans in signing any up-and-coming artiste for the time being.
According to him, there is a lot to be done for himself and his brand, and wouldn’t like to have divided attention while grooming an upcoming artiste.
He said that he will continue to support young artists who always reach out to him for collaborations and support but has no plans of signing any of them for now.
He further stated that his decision not to sign any act has nothing to do with his past differences with his former signees but he wouldn’t like to share his attention while promoting his brand and grooming an up-and-coming artiste at the same time.
Stonebwoy will be celebrating the 1 year anniversary of his Angloga Junction album on Saturday, 22nd May in a virtual concert at Bay View Village.
