Priscilla Ojong, the 300-level student of the Cross River State University who was declared missing days ago, has revealed why she remained incommunicado for over three weeks.
Priscilla was earlier reported missing by her friends days ago after she travelled to Lagos to see a friend and remained incommunicado for over three weeks.
Her father, Mr. Ernest Ojong, in an interview with Cross River Watch Tv, had also confirmed that his daughter was missing and had not made any contact with her family members for over three weeks.
After much awareness was created online to help find her, a close family friend, while giving an update about Priscilla’s whereabouts via her Instagram account said she has reunited with her mum.
However, in an Instalive session she had, Priscilla while narrating the controversy surrounding her ‘disappearance’ said she was depressed.
She also said that she informed her roommate of her whereabouts before leaving.
The 300-level student however said that she couldn’t reach anyone because her phone was bad.
According to her, she never went for any hookup with any man as earlier claimed, rather she went to visit her boyfriend because she was going through a life crisis.
“Hi everyone my name is Priscilla Ojong. I am here again to make clarifications as to why I suddenly disappeared.
“Like I said earlier, my phone was bad but I didn’t bother working on it because I needed some space. I didn’t want to receive calls from anyone because I was going through depression.
“I decided to come see my boyfriend and equally cool off too. I didn’t go missing and I was also scared and surprised when I came online to find all the reports that stated I was missing.
“I’m currently going through a tough time in my life but I appreciate the care, calls and concerns showed towards me,” she said.
